Unit 4 Dilapidations Rectification Works

Client Brief

Fully Furnished, the occupier, decided with less than 2 weeks to go that they would prefer to undertake the Dilapidations Works themselves rather than ask Campsie to negotiate a settlement on their behalf.

What We Did

We were appointed to draw up a Schedule of Works, liaise with the Landlord’s Surveyor in order to agree standards, and finalise and Tender the works within a 48 hour period.

Malcolm then monitored the works to completion, with the Contractor often working well into the evening and 7 days a week in order to ensure the works were completed ahead of the lease deadline date.

This necessitated undertaking some £45k of work within 10 days which the Contractor duly managed. Works included full redecoration of the Industrial Unit, atrial demolition of the office areas and strip-out of the mechanical and electrical systems back to shell standard.
